Ted has placed more than 600 executives on the boards of Fortune 500, mid-cap, and private companies. His consultative approach focuses on working with boards to look at long-term development plans for both management and board succession planning.
Ted is a regular commentator on corporate governance, and his comments have appeared in The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and CNN, as well as other local and regional papers. He has also been a guest lecturer at George Washington University, Northwestern University, The Terry College of Business, and The University of Chicago.
BusinessWeek ranked Ted one of the 150 most influential headhunters in the world and Executive Search Review named him one of six "executive recruiters to watch." Directorship magazine has named Ted seventeen times on its Directorship 100 list of the most influential people in corporate governance. In 2011, the Millstein Center for Corporate Governance and Performance at Yale University named him one of the "Rising Stars of Corporate Governance."
Ted is active in civic circles and serves on the board of directors of the Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP).
