Based in New York, Lionel works closely with global private capital organizations to support their executive recruitment efforts. Working with private equity firms, hedge funds, and family offices, he specializes in assessing investment professionals, investor relations leaders, and portfolio company executives. He is also a trusted advisor to our global sports clients and leads Russell Reynolds Associates' Private Equity Sports Business Practice.
Lionel first joined Russell Reynolds Associates in Europe from another global executive search firm, where he worked on a range of CEO and other senior-level executive searches.
Lionel holds an MSc in international management from ISEG Business & Finance School in Paris and an MBA from the International School of Management & St. John's University. He has been the chair of the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Young Leaders Group in France and currently serves on the Nomination Committee that elects the ULI European Young Leaders Executive Chair. He is also an international friend of The Explorer's Club. He speaks fluent English and French.
