Norm Yustin leads the firm’s Global Omnichannel Retail & Luxury Practice, leveraging his extensive executive experience in retail prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 2013. As a strong complement to leading omnichannel search and advisory projects, Norm also leads the Global Customer Activation and Growth Practice, providing strategic guidance on customer-centric, go-to market leadership roles with a focus on digital transformation.
Since joining Russell Reynolds, Norm has led over three hundred searches for customer-centric leadership positions such as CEO, COO, CDO and CMO for multi-billion-dollar companies, private equity portfolio companies and founder-led businesses. Norm also is a key member of the firm’s Board and CEO Practice and is widely recognized for his thought leadership on the future of customer-centric, tech-enabled leadership, frequently contributing to global media outlets as a transformation and consumer expert.
Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Norm served as chief marketing officer at Macy’s and private equity-backed Claire’s Stores, where he led brand strategy, creative development, and performance marketing, among other go-to-market functions. He was previously president of Havas Worldwide, a prominent global advertising and communications group, where he managed a large team to deliver comprehensive global marketing and corporate communication solutions. He began his career in Canada and has since worked and lived in five countries across three continents.
